I need advice. My two year old has been potty trained for a while, but suddenly has been having "accidents". At first I thought she was just playing and didn't get there fast enough, so I started asking her to go "try" any time it had been a while or it looked like she had to go. It has gotten so bad over the last few days though. We have had 4 "accidents" in the last two days! (And its still early today) I know toddlers can have set backs in potty training and she could be showing out because of the new baby (although I would think the new whining all the time would be that) but I just don't know what to do. I tried being everything I can think of. Help! Any advice is welcome :'(

We finally got our lazy butts up and went to church this weekend. This is the first time we have been since Liam was born. He did good. After church we did some grocery shopping, then rented some movies. We had a nice afternoon being lazy watching movies. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Today started out like any normal day. Baby slept good (once I finally got him to sleep). Paid bills. Ate lunch. All good. Then Hannah came up to me and said she had something on her head. A tic. Yes, a tic. *shiver* Eeewww! I can deal with most things...a tic, not so much. Of course I don't want Hannah to freak out so I keep my screaming like a little girl inside my head and take her to the bathroom to try to get this thing off her. Where we live I see tics all the time, but my wonderful hubby always deals with them and they have never been on my children. *sigh* So I try all the things I can think of and the stupid little thing won't come out. Well, of course Josh is at work as well as almost everyone else I know. I call fellow stay at home mom aka sister in law Tina. With her help we got it out. So gross!
Well, all that fun is over, now I have a diaper to change. To go along with my day the diaper pail is stuck. So I mess and mess with it finally getting it to open. In the process I manage to slice a chunk of flesh off my finger. Awesome. Off to scrub my hands and get bandaged up.
Thankfully my day did not get any worse. We have had a fairly pleasant evening. Too bad we all have to work yet another Saturday. *sigh* Oh well. Such is life.

Monday, Monday

My hubby took Acacia to the doctor this morning. She has strep throat. *sigh* Because my hubby is wonderous, he stayed home from work today to help me. A baby with reflux, a 2 year old with strep, a 4 year old wild child and a 7 year old is a little to much for me. I admit it. Hopefully the meds will kick in and Acacia will start feeling better soon. Hope everyones Monday is good :)

What a night

It really all started yesterday morning. We were getting ready to go get some breakfast and Hannah said her throat hurt. Well her doctor isn't open on the weekends so we gave her tylenol and hoped she could at least last until Monday. The rest of the day went pretty well until bedtime. Acacia kept waking up, Hannah got up a couple of times and Liam had a rough night.
Well, Acacia has run a fever all day getting as high as 104.7. Its down now thanks to a cool bath, tylenol and cold drinks. Of course Liam as been fussy today too. What a day. Hopefully tomorrow will be better for everyone...I hate to start the week bad. Well better go tend to the fussy baby.

Whats up

Ok. I think I have this phone figured out LOL.
So here is what's been going on the last month.
We took a couple of weeks to settle in and get used to having a newborn in the house again. It hasn't been bad. Liam is a good baby. He has reflux just like Acacia did, but we have him on medicine so hopefully that will be getting better soon. Acacia ignored Liam and I while we were at the hospital, but has been his protector ever since we came home. Hannah just loves him. She wants to help with everything (including helping with Acacia which is super helpful). Liam has the best big sisters ever :)
Everything is going really well. Two weeks ago we went with some friends hiking (l had several people act like I was crazy taking a two weeks old hiking haha). It was so nice to get out of the house. Of course we went and watched the fireworks for the 4th and BBQ'd with some friends. Fun. Last week we went camping for 3 days at Carolina Hemlocks. Liam did so good and we had a blast. Unfortunatly Hannah fell and burnt her hand on the campfire. She is doing fine but it will take some time to heal. Dispite the efforts of several adults, a tent and an umbrella Liam ended up getting sunburnt. I felt like a horrible parent... I really tried to keep him out of the sun (you are not supposed to put sunblock on a baby this young). He is fine though. He is growing like a weed! He was 7lbs 14oz when he was born and now is 11lbs 5oz. LOL He is my little "chunker man" ha ha. Well, I hear him waking up so I better go. Hope everyone out in blogger land is doing well :)
