Busy, busy

Ok. The next couple of weeks are going to be crazy busy. Starting now. Go! Just kidding. We do have a crazy number of birthdays coming up. We have my hubbys nephew Ty and my niece Jaylynn this weekend. My friends little boy Alex next weekend. Hannah and Ty's sister Jayden the next weekend after that.
Craziness! It should be fun though. I better get on the whole present buying situation though :)

Kid Senses field trip

Acacia and I went with my sister and niece to Kid Senses on a field trip yesterday. I love that place! Everything is kid size. They have a little grocery store, dentist office, fire truck, tv studio, resturant, bubble station...and so much more. This is the first time we have gone that Acacia was big enough to enjoy it. She had so much fun. It was so cute. I am thinking about doing her birthday there (ok that is a long way away, but the idea is still there).
So fun :)

Morning play time

Playing with my pillow pet. La la la.
Now I want to play on my back. Clap, clap.
Oh, wait. Is that my pillow pet?
Let me roll over to it.
Now if I could just figure out how to crawl.
:-)

My little baby is 7 months old. How did that happen?!
It seems like I just brought him home. He is such a good baby. I have been so blessed. My children are awesome!
I am filled with so much love and pride right now I can't even think of anything else to write LOL

New Years weekend

We are fuddy-duddys. We were driving home from Florida when the New Year came upon us. We did however manage to catch a stomach bug. Yea. I shouldn't complain though. It hit Josh when he was at his moms with the girls. He ended up being so sick that he stayed the night. His mom ended up taking care of him and poor Acacia when the bug bit her early the next morning.
So thank you to my mother in law :)
After resting most of the day Josh brought the girls home. It seemed like we were done with it...but no :( Hannah ended up with it to.

I am happy to say that Liam and I didn't not get bit and managed to chase that nasty stomach bug out of the house :)

And we're off!

The drive to Florida was covered in a blanket of snow. Well, maybe not the whole drive. :-P But the states that were sure were beautiful.
The drive was pretty uneventful, which is wonderful concidering we were traveling with 3 children (including Princess Cry Baby and Prince Boo Hoo).
Our visit was really mellow this time. Grandma kept us well fed (isn't that what grandmas are supposed to do ha ha) and it was great hanging out with my dad and his girlfriend.
We, of course, rode around on the golf cart and did a bit of shopping too. :D It was a great visit and we look forward to seeing them again...soon I hope.

911 calls and hospital visits

The Tuesday before Christmas, Josh's grandpa went in the hospital, again for pneumonia. So that's how we started our holiday rush.

Christmas Eve
My husband has a large family (5 sisters and a brother) so we have many people to see at the holidays. We gathered most of them together for brunch at one sisters house.
All was going great, good food, kids playing, visiting with family...then the cops show up. Ha! We were all shocked to say the least when the officer said they were responding to a 911 call. Well after talking to the kids we discovered that one of them, while playing a game, picked up what he thought was a play phone and dialed 911 and then dropped the phone and went back to playing. Anyways after everything settled down we all laughed about it. Craziness!

After brunch we went to Josh's grandpas house. The hospital let him come home for the holiday. Gifts were opened, fun was had :)
Then home... my SIL and her family came over and we played Just Dance 2 and Band Hero. Fun, fun.

Christmas Day
7:00 am - even after staying up crazy late getting everything ready I was wide awake. I layed in bed for about 15 minutes trying to go back to sleep before I gave up and woke everyone up :D
The look on the kids' face was priceless! I love it! After opening our presents to each other Josh and Liam layed down to take a nap. While they were napping it started to snow. Come on...could it be a more perfect Christmas?!
After making a cake (chocolate chip cheese cake with a chocolate drizzle) for my sister as a surprise (we would be gone for her birthday), we headed to her house.

More food, more gifts, more laughs, and more family...it was great. We didn't get to stay as long as I would have liked though, it was snowing like crazy. When we went to be we had over 7 inches of snow. It was beautiful.

Hope you all had a happy and safe Christmas.
