Time for a break

Chocolate/Vanilla (colored pink of course) cupcakes for Hannah's school party :)

We have had so much going on lately. Birthdays mostly. Tax time is usually busy for us too.
Hannah picked the bowling alley to have her party at this year. It was a huge hit. We all had a blast, not just the kids. It was so fun watching the kids try to bowl. There were kids as young as 3 and as old as 12 bowling and it was so funny watching them. I wish I would have taken a picture with my phone so I could post it :(
Fun, fun.
I can't believe Hannah is 8 already. It blows my mind.

We had a nice Valentines day. We don't do anything big. We grabbed some lunch while we were running errands. Of course we all gave each other cards and we gave the girls a little purse with candy in it. It was nice.

Liam is now 8 months old. Wow, where did the time go? He is such a good baby. Always smiling. He loves to make noise and "talk". He shows no interest in crawling LOL I guess I have a lazy baby ;~)

I am excited to finally finish the kids rooms. We have been furniture shopping and I think we have decided on their bedrom set. I can't wait to see the finished product.
After that project we will start working on our back deck. We have wanted this the 8 years we have lived here and are super excited to get started on it.

Now if I can just get motivated to get this yard sale stuff together soon, I will be right on track :)

8 years

8 years ago I gave birth to a 8lb 4oz baby girl.
At 5 months she started talking.
She won Best Personality in a photo contest.
At 10 months she started walking.
At her first birthday party she had two tiny pigtails.
At around 1 1/2 she was bringing me flowers and fell. She refused to let go of the flowers and still has the scar on the back of her hand to prove it.
Around 3 years old she learned about death.
At 4 1/2 she became a big sister.
She loves animals.
She loves pasta.
She can draw better than I can.
At 6 years old she got her "very own" kitty and concideres herself his momma.
She loves to laugh.
She loves her family.
At 7 she became a big sister again and loves it.
She loves to camp, hike, swim and go tubing.
She likes to take care of everyone.
She likes to make Acacia breakfast.
She likes to do dishes.
When she playes Donkey Kong she constantly says "let's do this".

She is so sweet, kind hearted, helpful and such a special person. I love her so much it makes my heart ache.

Happy 8th Birthday Hannah Lynn.
I love you so, so much.

Emotional

Here I am watching Greys Anatamy and thinking about how my oldest child is getting ready to turn 8, feeling a little emotional (thanks aunt flow) anyways. And watching the ultrasound scene (spoiler alert) and I got all teary. I have been in front of that ultrasound machine many times and there is nothing scarier than waiting for that heartbeat. Unfortunatly there has been two times we didn't get to hear it and it was heart breaking. But the times when you do hear it, is amazing...I believe I cried.

I am so blessed and thankful to have three beautiful, healthy children.

Birthdays

Make truffles first and then drop them in the cupcake batter
Cover with more batter
Fresh out of the oven
Finished product...yummy :~)

First of all.... Happy 1st Birthday to one of my best friends little guy Alex today. Happy 5th Birthday to my niece Jaylynn yesterday. And Happy Birthday to my hubbys pawpaw tomorrow.

Pawpaw teases me all the time that I make all these good deserts and don't ever bring him any, so I decided to make him some cupcakes.
I came across a receipe for chocolate truffle cupcakes topped with homemade whipped cream.
Let me just say that I have tried many receipes lately, but this is the best chocolate cupcakes I have ever had. Seriously.

I am a little irritated with posting moble-ly. I can't put the pictures with the captions under them :(
Anywho...have a great week everyone :)
