My coffee maker broke. Need I say more?

I would love one of these....but would settle for a plain ol' coffee maker.

While I am wishing for things I would also like one of these:

and one of these:

That would be great.

Oh, and my hubby wants one of these:

and to go on one of these:

Ahhh to dream....

We did the usual for Easter: went to church, went to my sisters and the kids hunted Easter eggs, and ate dinner with my sister and her family. It was very nice. One thing I love about Easter it that it is a calm holiday. It seems like we run and run on all the other holidays, but Easter we just chill and play. Love it.

Lets go hunt some eggs :)

Lordy, Lordy...look who's 30/40

We had a birthday BBQ for my hubby and our friend. Josh turned 30 years old and our friend Scotty turned 40. It was a blast. The weather was perfect and it was great to have all of our friends together. I think it was a great way to start off the summer.

Haha! Got him!

Now he is after payback...better run!

Playing toss with the water balloons

Such a fun day.

Where has the time gone?

I thought I was updating my blog pretty good until I realized that it has been weeks since I posted anything. We have been so busy, the time has gotten away from me. So, here is what has been going on.

After our beach trip (actually during our trip) my husbands Aunt Ruth passed away. She had been suffering from a terminal illness for a while and is now at peace. She was a great woman and will be greatly missed.

I have been accepted into the Associate Degree Nursing program (aka RN program) starting this fall. I am excited, but there is still so much I have to finish before I can begin the program that I am holding back on the excitment until later. It kind of doesn't feel real. It is going to be a busy next couple of years, but I know it will be well worth it.

We have been trying to excersise more as a family. Josh has been doing little adjustments on our bikes so we can ride them. I really enjoy riding and hope we can get into a good habit of this special family time.

We have been spending a lot of time outside. The weather has been beautiful here lately.
